Cumulus Shanghai: presenting URT

By jess on September 10, 2011

Jane Pirone and I presented our development of URT (Urban Research Toolkit) to the international art and design audience at the Cumulus ‘Better City Better Life’ conference on September 9th.  Hosted by Tonji University, the conference aims to present new research and collaborations, especially as they become relevant to the education of art and design students. We focused our presentation on the broader goals of URT – to create a collaborative mapping interface that includes contextual, relational information, as well as ideas for our forthcoming class this semester.

You can read the syllabus and projects via the class blog.
